Smith 1x02 Two

This show really has everything I ever wanted: bad guys, bad guys on bikes, pretty girl(s), prettier cars, money, sex and did I mention the cars?

Second episode was as good as the last one, if not better. I like how they introduce the characters, giving small hints of their histories and leave us to guess the rest. That way, I continously try to guess how they will react and what they will do next. Of course, this early in the show I'm mostly wrong, but it didn't leave me one quiet moment while I watched the episode. Inbetween all the "Is this guy totally INSANE?", "This has got to go wrong.", "I can't believe he just did that! But of COURSE he just did that!" and "What is she up to now?!", I hardly had time to fully appreciate the bike and the hummer and OMG is this an Aston Martin Vantage?

Mostly, I'm more turned on by the cars than the men, though I do admit that Jeff's insanity makes my heart beat a bit faster. Seeing him switches the part of my brain off that tells me that even if I were to consider a career in crime, I'd probably be too old and sane for that.

Needless to say, I already watched the premiere a second time last week. Let's see how long it takes until I want to watch this episode again. Hmm, I wonder if I should watch it agin right now...

My only real complaint at this time is that the episode don't have names. The writers have obviously underestimated how important names are in fandom. It gets rather annoying to talk about an episode and instead of saying "Remember the Jack/Daniel touchies in Evolution?" you have to say something like "Remember how Jeff and Tom had sex on the street in front of the Corvette in the episode where Tom got out of prison?"
Okay, with two eps it's not that difficult, but it will be once we get more (and I sure hope we'll get many many more).

Anyway, love the show. I admit that I was almost as excited about this episode as about last night's NCIS episode. Almost.
As I said, it must be love.
