NCIS 3x06 "The Voyeurs Web"

For starters, a quick summary:

Girl gets killed while doing line online porn. McGee outs himself as a consument of said online-porn. No, wait, he doesn't. He invents a girl-fried instead. Knowing McGee, I even believe him.

The team investigates, Tony and Gibbs flirt, Abby is cute, gets kissed, gets an assistant whom she watches porn with. Knifes, dogs, marines and hair-dye feature prominently until the case is solved.
As does a La Perla Negligé. In the end, everybody goes out for dinner, but not with each other. Sadly.

So, what have we learned from this week's NCIS episode?

• Tony and Gibbs are so doing it.
  Okay, this isn't exactly new, but it's worth mentioning. Gibbs jealous reaction when Tony flirts with Ziva at the beginning of the episode. The looks they exchanged when Tony first showed Gibbs the website. Not to mention that they stand WAY too close.

  You got to ask yourself where Gibbs' hands are in this moment. No, I don't think he is actually grabbing Tony's ass right there in the middle of the office, but you know he wants to. And I'm sure Tony will get his punishment for doing that to Gibbs.
  
  And here you can see how Tony practically leans into Gibbs. Again with the inappropriate closeness.
  
  
  
  Just saying.
  
  
  At the moment, I'm not quite sure if they really are sleeping together or they just both really want to sleep with the other one. Personally, I prefer the version where they are doing it, but one thing is sure: whatever they have, they don't have a "relationship". Tony is still dating women, and Gibbs is obviously aware that he has to keep an eye on him.
  
  There is of course the possibility that Tony really did buy that negligé for himself. Why else would Gibbs tell him it's not his color?
  


• Abby is the cutest thing ever, and for some mysterious reason likes to work alone. Which, after having seen her new assistant, I totally understand.
  a) The Director has learned about McGee and Abby, that's why she sent Abby this assistant.
  b) The Director secretly wants Abby, who can't stand her, so she decided to piss Abby off by not letting her work alone.
  
  Abby also got kissed by Gibbs again, a scene that I will without doubt have to watch "a few" times to, uhm ,study it. I'm not sure if Gibbs is sleeping with both Tony and Abby at this point, but it's not impossible.



• The Director, her of the weird hair styles, continues to suck in a very professional way.
  I have come to really like her. She pisses everyone off, tries ti run things she knows nothing about, and - when Gibbs asks her about it - she plays the director card. Not the "former lover" card, no, the "I'm your boss now, get used to it" card. I like that. I like that I don't have to like her.



• Unlike Ziva.
  I don't like Ziva. TPTB have obviously decided that everyone should love Ziva, and they never fail to make their intentions clear. For six episodes in a row, we have been shown exactlly why Ziva is that really cool, strong woman who doesn't take shit from everyone,carries deadly weapons everywhere, is the best shot, has the best comebacks, is one of the guys cause she reads me's magazines, is not afraid to talk about porn, knows how to switch off a vibrator, argues with Gibbs, is smart and witty and....AAARRRGHH!!!!
  
  Really, I'm 27, I have been watching TV shows for about two decades: don't they think I can decide for myself which characters I like?
  
  She is kind of cute, and I do feel sorry for not liking her, but I don't like to be forced. If they showed us what she is really like, maybe. But not like that. And I really don't like the way she is flirting with Tony. Sure, Tony falls for it: she has breast and she is female, I don't think Tony knows how to not flirt with her. But I don't like it anyway.
  
  Of course, the chance that someone who so openly flirts on such a not-serious basis will ever start something with that person are slim. Kate/Tony is more believable than tony/ZIva at his point, because Tony liked to shock Kate, and Kate liked to pretend that she was shocked. Ans she also wanted to know if Tony would be everything he promised to be.
  Ziva, on the other hand, will never fall for Tony, because then she wouldn't be the prod, strong, taking no-shit from anyone-Ziva anymore. Good thing she is sleeping with the director.
  
  

Hmm, can't think of anything else. Somehow, I am unable to talk about the TV shows I watch at the moment. I'm just not inspired.




BTW, my Miami Vice DVDs arrived yesterday, and Icannot quite understand how Crockett and Tubbs did not become slash popstars. If you think there was a lot of touching between Jim and Blair, you have probably never watched Miami Vice. They practically confess their love to each other at the end of every ep. I don't know, maybe it get's less after a while, but for the moment, the amount of slashiness onscreen is mind-boggling.
