I finally got the torrent for NCIS. Not that it helps much, seeing tha tI have to leave the house now, which means I'll have to turn the computer off.
But with a bit of luck I'll get to see it tonight.

This night however, I downloaded "Bones", and watched one ep for breakfast. Because it sounds exactly like the kind of show you'd want to watch for breakfast.

It sucked.

I watched it after I found out that it is based on Kathy Reichs books. Books that I await almost as impatiently as new Harry Potters.

In those books, Temperance Brennan is a very likable women with flaws, in mind and body, who doesn't go around shooting people and who, most important of all, has a thing for a Canadian cop, named Ryan. He has a cute ass and blue, blue eyes.

On TV, I really didn't see too many bodily flaws, but she seems to be stark raving mad, so that probably makes up for it. They have a super-duper-3-D-Ashen computer, so they don't have to actually explain the science. Because people who watch TV are all stupid, you know?

Angel was surprisingly convincing as the FBI agent. It is kind of scary to see him in broad daylight like that, even - shock! - in the sun. But otherwise he wasn't bad.
Well, except for that shooting range scene. You can just tell that DB went to the director and said "Let me shoot him in the head before I go, everyone does it, it's so cool, and I so want to be cool."

But except for that, he was kind of cute. Many of his characteristics were taken from Ryan in the books, but he did well enough for me to give this show a second try. I'm hoping that he will shoot Pod-Tempe and replace her with the real one.
