Wow, that sure was an experience. I can't believe how lonely I felt without all of you.
For everyone who panicked yesterday, thinking that everything was gone, I can recommend this little tool:
LJ Archive
It downloads your lj including all the comments, and it is very readable and easy to navigate. Plus, it took ony two minutes to download everything (of course I have a very fast connection over here, so it might take longer for you).
What it doesn't download are your memories, but so far I haven't found a tool that does that. Someone needs to create one.
Also, since everyone's doing it, I too, have backups:

Mine's Oceana everywhere, but without the underscore that I had to use on lj, because some bitch who hasn't updated since 2001 had already taken my name. Grrr.
