Jack saying" No, I really don't" when Kinsey asks that him to trust him? That was pure Daniel. Didn't sound like Jack at all.

Does anyone else find it scary that he carries a gun when he goes shopping for groceries?

So he playspoker with the sheriff? Somehow I don't see Daniel as the poker playing type.

It makes me really nervous that they don't shut the door.

Og, debriefing! Look at them, how cute they are, Jack looking at Daniel and Daniel doing that eyebrow thing saying "Improvement", and Jack says "yeah" with that little shrug. And they are so married.
So cute.
And now Jack sends him of to Moscow. And Daniel pouts a little .Well, Jack's got poker on Friday, he doesn't have time anyway.

Oh, and it's Daniel in a suit. I am shallow, you can always get me with the suit.

And look how cute he is when he flirts with the russian Captain, speaking russians.

I bet Jack didn't have that in mind when he sent Daniel to Russia.

But the episode ended. Uhm, should it have end there? Did I miss the climax? Did they forget the end?

It's really over now.
That was rather abrupt.

Conclusion:
I didn't dislike the episode. But I probably won't watch it again any time soon.
The end was definitely too sudden, and there was really no time that I was afraid they'd start a war. This is Stargate, not West Wing after all.
as for the rest: I have never been interested in the whole NID conspiracy thing. If I were, I'd have enjoyed this a lot more.

I'm sure there's a J/D story about poker somewhere in there.
