I promise to do a real post on my shows sometimes soon. I LOVE all the shows I'm watching right now. I watch one and think, oh, I LOVE this show so much, it's the best show of all my shows, and then I watch another and think the same thing. I really couldn't tell you which one is my favorite, I just love them all so much. With the exception of Desperate Housewives and Brothers&Sisters, which I love as well but could easily live without.
Here's what I watch at the moment:
The ones I love more than words can say
NCIS (Team!!! Team!Love!)
Supernatural (Dean!!! Dean!Love!)
The Unit (Bob!!!BOB!Love!)
Numb3rs (Don!!! Don!Love!)
Bones (Show!Show!Love!)
The ones I watch and love, but would probably be able to live without
Desperate Housewives
Brother&Sisters (which is on its way to the above category, btw)
CSI (this just kep getting better and better. How can they keep getting better with the same concept for 8 years???)
The ones that are sadly on hiatus
Eureka
Doctor Who
Torchwood
The ones that I still mourn
Stargate
Veronica Mars
Smith (no, I'm not over it. I'm SO not over it. *wipes tears away*)
The ones I'm going to try in the next weeks
Moonlight
Burn Notice
[open to suggestions]
The ones that I kind of still like but for lack of time and commitment don't watch at the moment (though I might very well catch up with them during the next hiatus)
Stargate Atlantis
Rescue Me
Men in Trees
Obviously, I like and love many other shows, these are just the ones still running (except for Stargate, Veronica Mars and Smith, where the wounds are still fresh).
DVD-wise I'm currently indulging in 80s nostalgia, with Miami Vice season 3, Simon&Simon and Riptide. I'm also on my third or fourth WestWing viewing, this time with my brother. And Supernatural Season 2 will arrive soon, so you see, I'm keeping busy. No, I don't sleep. Why do you ask? ;-)
Anyway, what I really wanted to say, since I just watched Friday's Numb3rs: I am completely in love with Don. I'M just... there's nothing about him that doesn't turn me on, even the things that I tell myself not to like, I like about him. I can't say that I love him MORE than any of my other fannish loves (Hi Bob! Hi Dean!), I just know that if I ever met him in real life, I'd totally and without any doubt fall for him in an instant. Even without knowing him before.
Which, as I think about it,neatly explains why I have trouble with relationships.
Yes, I know he isn't real. That's kind of the point, right?
