I spent my lunch break watching what was advertised as the preair of The Unit 2x02, but according to the episode spoilers seems to be 2x03. Without being spoilery, I can say it was a lot better than the WTF?season premiere.

The episode has three major storylines. The wives are helping the fiancee of one of the members deal with his death, The Unit rescues a guy who is trapped by snipers and Bob shoots a chicken.

Okay, Bob shooting a chicken isn't really a storyline, but he does, and he is so sexy when he does it that I couldn't even protest killing the chicken in the first place. Other than that, Bob's storyline mostly mixes with the wives thing. Kim wants him to sign a life insurance and he gets all angsty and defensive about it. Then he shows up in dress uniform at the fiancee's home and I had to put my hand in front of my eyes and watch through my fingers from so much awkward cuteness. Bob. Oh Bob! Why do you have such a stupid name?
*loves Bob*

The wives storyline was the usual. Molly seems to be holding back this season and I kind of miss being annoyed by her. Huh. Mrs. Col. Ryan appears a few times and it is funny to see how the wives stand at attention whenever she enters a room. I hope they will be showing more of her, I like the awkwardness between her and Tiffy. I think Tiffy should start sleeping with her now that the Colonel doesn't want her anymore. Asshole.

The sniper storyline seemed again a bit incoherent, it took me a while to understand why they were there and what they were doing. But maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, because dirty and dusty Mack shooting snipers was too distacting.

After the WTF?season premiere I was afraid I'd have to stop watching this show, but this episode gives me hope. It wasn't up to season 1 standards, but it had some very nice moments and lots of Bob. BOB!
