I haven't seen many people on my flist talk about this show, which was a bit of a surprise. Surely some of you must like Christian Kane?

I for one, love CK. And yet...

I just finished watching the second episode of "Close To Home", and I'm pretty sure it was the last one too. I'm rather sure that this is one of the many new shows that get cancelled after a few episodes, because it is incredibly boring and not even very well made. The story is simply: pretty, blond prosecutor has cute baby with her hot husband (CK), then comes back to work after six months.

First case:
fire started by woman who was abused by her husband. Our pretty prosecutor feels for woman and kids ( who'dhave thought?) and in the end, justice for everyone, plus scary CK with baby scenes.

Second Case:
Girl gets abducted. Pretty Prosecutor risks case by tainting evidence to save the girl, because she is thinking of losing her own daughter. Girl is saved, new evidence magically appears, justice is served.

Third case:
well, there wasn't a third case yet, but I'm not holding my breath.

So, I love CK, but even the few minutes of screentime he gets in this show aren't worth bothering with it. Sorry, CK.
