Still alive, but barely

In an exciting turn of events, I cancelled the party I was invited to last night, stayed in and read slash. Thus, I bring you 16 new recs at oceanas_recs. Old stuff, mostly, because I really haven't had time to read and rec in way too long.

Now I'll study some more (the reason why I'm only barely alive), and tomorrow I have a date (no, not a real one) to see Serenity. Yay, finally!

There was something else I was going to say, but I forgot. I miss LJ-ing like a crazy. There are all these posts in my head that will remain unwritten, like my thoughts on the new SGA episodes or the hotness that is James Spader (watched "The White Palace" last week), or that I have finally, as the last person on earth, started to watch X-Files season 8, and marveled at how wonderfully they introduced Doggett, whom I just can't hate now, and why did I ever stop watching after season 7?

But I force myself to stay away and study. Four weeks till the exams, and I'm trying so hard not to panic that it's hard to do anything else.

Also, lj is still not sending me all my comments, so if you have posted something a reply to something I have said and feel ignored because of my lack of response, it's all lj's fault.
