1. if you were given the choice of buying a new computer/modem and get internet at a flat rate OR watching fallen and homecoming, which one would you choose?

That's easy: flat rate and new modem. Because then I could download Fallen and Homecoming! :-)


2. what is your reaction when you read fics where daniel acts like a girl?

Usually, I stop reading. However, there are some really cruel authors, who manage to have a brilliant plot and a very poor characterization. If I have reached that point where I can't stop reading anymore, because I just have to know how the story ends, I continue. And am pissed all the time because Daniel is definitely not a girl.
Also, I have this kidfic kink. Give me Jack and Daniel raising a child and I can forgive a lot...

3. apart from english, german and french (and goa'uld and unas etc etc) what languages can you speak/understand?

Well, I am not sure I understand Goa'uld, but I think I could figure out unas. Doesn't seem to be too hard.
Real languages? I learned some italian at school. If it is not spoken too fast, I can understand a normal conversation, though I probably couldn't follow lectures at university. I can speak a few sentences, but most of it has disappeared since I graduated, I hope it comes back if I ever go to Italy again.

I took swedish classes at University and can have a basic conversation, like I am, I live, I want, how much is the bread and "Vad liggar golfplatsen?" (Though I wouldn't rely on the spelling) I can read the swedish subtitles of my Sentinel tapes, and Astrid Lindgren's books for very small children.

Also, I have tortured myself with Latin for six years and - humanistic school - old greek for two. I remember quite a bit of Latin, but there is nothing left of the old greek. I don't know if there was in the first place...


4. random question: do you ever mow the lawn? do you even have a lawn to mow?!

Yes, I do have a lawn to mow! But I never do. I never do any garden work, I hate it. Plants hate me. Never give me a flower if you want it to survive. I don't kill them on purpose, they just don't like me.
The only time I am in the Garden is to play with my dog, or to sit on the veranda, where I work and eat in sommer. And as long as I can still see the other end of the garden frome there, there is no reason to mow the lawn! ;-)


5. and just because i'm evil...did you know that the french courts cannot sue the french president while he's still a president?

The question is: Did I want to know? And, no, I didn't know, but the same thing is true for Germany. The Parliament has to agree to criminal investigation and civil actions against any of its members.
