*wipes tears away*
I'm still laughing tears. That was pure comedy gold!
- the "combat engineers" ("hey, I found a cool new word over the holidays! Imagine that, they have combat engineers! Isn't that cool? Let's our characters have use it as often as they can.")
- the Simpson's joke ("That's a Simpsons joke." "So?" "Jack O'Neill made Simpsons jokes, so if Sheppard does it's just lame." "Oh, we'll call it a hommage, the fans will love it!" "Okay.")
- pretty pretty Kaylee diagnosing John ("you need surgery. And, and, infusion, and so. I'm just making things up as I go along, but you NEED to stay here, for the angst!")
- Sheppard stealing himself out of the hospital ("Nobody but me can do this, and I need you, Sam, to be strict with me, so I can say this, and show that I'm willing to be court-martialed, which is such an heroic thing to do, because I'm obviously putting my friend's life in danger by going out on a mission while I need surgery, and an infusion, and possibly other things that the doctor couldn't tell me about.")
and most of all
RODNEY CATCHING TEYLA'S BABY!
I'm laughing so hard, I don't think I've laughed so hard since I first read that mpreg story by Anne Isabelle where the babies start sucking Teal'c's nipples. (has she joined the SGA writers after the strike, btw?)
I think it's safe to say that this will be another season of SGA that has to take place without me. Yes, I can completely understand how some of you still love this show, after all, I watched Moonlight and loved it, but if I want to watch a badly written comedy show with a high slash element I'll rewatch Highlander, thank you very much. I'l just keep reading SGA slash, you guys are all better writers than the ones that are actually getting paid for it.
