Here, Mooshee, mooshee....
Today I learned that in Canada there is such a thing as a Moose License. That's what the paper called it.
I don't know what it is, but I want one. I imagine it'll allow you to bring your moose on a leash to restaurants and other public places, and - should I ever acquire a domesticated moose - that's what I'd want to do.
Unless it is a chain-smoking moose, of course, because of the "no smoking in public places" law that'll be starting in May. Chain-smoking mooshees have to stay at home, leash or no leash.
In other news, we went to Parc Omega this weekend, where you can feed Wapiti and other exciting canadian animals with carots while they lick and lovingly pet your (thank god rental) car. I enjoyed it very much. They also have bears and wolves and mounties. They won't let you feed those, but you can see them.
The same cannot be said about the moose, who were playing "Whose the best at imitating rocks" that day. Only treacherous flies and moving "(big! furry!) moose ears gave them away.
There's a moose somewhere in this picture. No, really. If you don't see it, it's probably a shape-shifting moose.
