CSI 6x01: Since I started using Bittorrent, I don't know episode names anymore, sorry
Oh, the Warrick/Catherine love!
Since I ship almost everyone in CSI, I'm not usually happy about open displays of love onscreen, but this made me so happy. SO happy!
I really liked this episode (and I was kind of worried, because I seriously hated the Tarantino "I'm a Gil/Nick shipper and Nick is such a woobie" finale of last year.)
And Warrick is married!
OMG!
This is, of course, going to end badly, but I just wanted to hug him when he told Catherine why he got married.
The beginning, with the team all waltzing in in slow-mo:
I appreciated the effect in CSI Miami (if only to see Emily Procter's hair glow in the sun), but do they really have to do it with every CSI show? Does anyone watch CSI NY and can tell me if they did the same thing there?
Greg:
"Grissom would have tasted it on purpose."
*snort*
Grissom:
What's with the hat?
Cath:
Yes, I love the Warrick love, but what has she done to her lips? She'd be a lot more pretty is she finally accepted that she isn't 30 anymore.
Sara: (with all those Sarah's, I can never remember if they are written with or without an "h")
I LOVE Sara.
I love Jorja Fox, she doesn't have to do anything special for me to love her. But I sure hope they let her do more than handling pastry one of these days.
Nick:
Nick and the bug! Uhoh.
I'm sure living with Grissom doesn't help this newly developed phobia.
But I liked that they didn't (yet) make a big deal out of his kidnapping, just some small references, like the bug and Warrick's reason to get married. And the fact that Grissom is all worried about his lover, of course.
Nicely balanced first episode with some standard cases, but nonetheless not boring. I was much more excited about CSI Miami, which turned out to be a bit more of the Horatio Caine show than even I can take, but CSI LV made me realize how I much I missed the CSI over the summer. And tomorrow it's new Numb3rs, squeee!
I so love premiere weeks!
Does anyone happen to know the premiere dates of these shows?
- Veronica Mars
- The L Word
- Desperate Housewives
