NCIS 3x01 "Kill Ari Part 1 "
So we start with Ari shooting Kate. Keep in that in mind, because later we are lead to believe that Ari didn't shoot her, and we know that it's not true.
No matter what they tell me, I think he did shoot her. I also think that he loved her, but when has that ever stopped men from killing?
Oh shut up, you are supposed to hate him.
New credits, a bit faster, but they don't make my head hurt, unlike some of the so-called fans on the other crackhead list, you know, the one where people call themselves fans and then complain all the time? That's why I love the original crackhead list, at least they love the show.
Credits arefollowed by the part where they all make me cry.
*cries*
I love that they start with Ducky, he seems like the most stellar character of the show. Everyone else has issues with one thing or another, which makes Ducky the only grown-up. His reactions are always honest and sincere. I love Ducky so much, and I'll kill them if they hurt him!
*raises fist threateningly*
- Gibbs staring at Kate's desk.
*cries*
When Gibbs' Kate says "Why did I die instead of you", it threw me off a bit first, because I don't think Gibbs wanted to die instead of her. But it's not about wanting, he believes that the bullet was meant for him and hit Kate by accident, that's why he is torturing himself.
"...that you couldn't see that, boss."
"I can't without my glasses."
*wails*
They way Tony flinches when he thinks Gibbs is going to smack him, one could almost think hat he really hurts him. Or maybe he is just scared, because this version of Gibbs is seriously scary.
Of course I loved the audible pat he gave Tony. Have you asked yourself where our dear Jethro Gibbs pets his soaking-wet lover in the middle of the office?
That's right, he pats him right on his soaking wet backside, because we can see his shoulders and the part of the back that one would usually pat, so that leaves only his bottom.
*loves her wet, gay show*
Next on the list of people who make me cry is Tony, when McGee asks him about the full metall jacket bullet. (and I feel like I should start calling McGee Timothy, because in times like this, someone should. *pets wet Timothy*
I love Tony's anger. This quiet Gbbs is seriously freaking me out, but at least Tony is angry. And hurting, so beautifully, visibly hurting.
And now he gest all excited because there is a chance that Ari didn't try to shoot Gibbs. Poor Tony, I can't even imagine what he mus feel like. Kate's has been shot, and the first thing he could think was "Thank godit wasn't Gibbs". He must feel so guilty.
*pets Tony*
He looks so worried when he looks at Gibbs after Gibbs called Tony "Tim".
They areverdoing it a bit with the rain, methinks.
Abby!
*wails like a baby*
And Goth!Kate!
Gee, I bet those two were doing roleplays all the time.
Abby is so cute, and she loved Kate, and buahahaha!
Dream!Kate is afraid that Ducky will see her tattoo! And it is on her butt!
*loves how Abby*s mind woks*
"Gibbs is always nice."
"To you and Ducky maybe, me, he growls at and smacks on the head."
"Which makes you feel wanted."
*loves Abby almost as much as Starbuck*
Abby knows!
I just wish Gibbs would get his head out of his ass and finally give in. He knows he wants Tony, Tony knows he wants Gibbs, Abby knows everything... *g*
And now Abby is getting angry, and...
*wails*
And I had just stopped crying.
*we pause here for a moment so we can all enjoy the incredibly sexiness of Tony and Gibbs in protection mood with their weapons drawn and Abby feeling up Tony's "booty". They are so doing it. All of them.*
If killing Kate wasn't proof enough that Ari is brain-damaged, attempting to kill Abby sure is. So Gibbs shot his shoulder?
Boohoo, poor little Ari, you'll have to hunt him for the rest of your life.
If he really were a good little terrorist, he'd move on to more important things than unimportant, if sexy, NCIS agents.
And here we are with the hair kissing again, and...*cries*
I love this show so much. SO much.
*loves*
I really don't think that it is a good idea for Ducky to do the autopsy himself, but he is right, of course, he couldn't let anyone else do it. Poor Ducky.
I like that they reminded us of Kate not killing Ari in Autopsy the first time because of his eyes. Yes, I still don't want to believ Ari killed her, because I saw the same thing, but he did. We saw him kill her just a few moments ago. Don't forget this.
"Have you ever lost a woman?"
Oh Ducky!
He is so right, of course, he and Gibbs are a coupld f old chauvinists.
*stares at Aby's ass*
*notices Tim staring at Abby's ass and*
Are they still sleeping together?
"mutual headslapping!"
And I seriously hope that I never meet MW in person. Or, if I meet him, that he doens't smile at me like that, because I can't guarantee that I won't jump him and embarass myself.
Now we get to what this episode is about:
the introduction of new people and them trying to convince us that Ari didn't shoot kill.
Adn the hair. The HAIR!
*laughs*
(and yes, I did pause the flashback. A lot. Shut up, will ya?)
So, the hair is absolutely ridiculous. Not only does it look really stupid, as someone who has had long hair for the most part of her life and used to wear it up almost like that, let me tell you: you would not want your hair to hang loose like that on the sides. You either put it up so it doesn't bother you by falling into your face, or you don't. That way, you'll want to put it behind your ears all the time, but you can'T touch it, because it is too frail and it will all come falling donw once you touch it, and you'll need an hour to get it back the wayit way.
*hates the hair*
*hates new director, while she'd at it*
*loves Gibbs for having less UST with her than with a cup of coffee*
Which, granted, is a lot, but still, they are so obviously over, and I like that. And i'm also looking forward to Tony's jealousy once he finds out that gibbs and the director have a past.
There's hope for the hair, btw, because apparently they decided that they didn't get her character quite right in the beginning, so she'll become a bit less stiff.
*looks at stairs scene*
Okay, she'd a bitch. I was trying to like her, but she's a bitch. Well, we already know that Gibbs has an exceptionally bad taste when it comes to women.
Tony!Kate! He is so cute!
And why, when I should be waving the Gibbs/Tony OTP flag, do I have no problem at all with
a) Tony thinking that Gibbs is off for a "nooner" ("Was not"), and obviously not having a problem with that
and
b) Tony having sexual fantasies about Kate.
If they'd all stop being so damn sexy, the OTP-flag-waiving would be a lo easier.
New, Isreali agent.
*hates her*
Okay, that's not true. I like her. At this moment of the show I like her, and I think she is pretty. But since this is the second time I watch the ep, I already know that I'm going to hate her.
Let me count the reason:
1) Tony doesn't really flirt with her. He does later, when he thinks it serves his purpose, but not at first. You know that there is something wrong with a woman when Tony doesn't flirt with her.
2) She is very insensitive. Too much sex talk even for Tony. She knows Kate just died, and she can't let it go?
*bitch*
We get to know really interesting thigns about Gibbs and his boats, uhm, wives. Gibbs is such a hopeless romantic.
*pets Gibbs*
But, explain to me this:
why one earth does he take her to his basement in the middle of the day?
So he had to change his clothes, okay. But surely he doesn't keep his clothes in the basement?
Has anyone ever stopped to think that Gibbs might not have a house at all, but that he is living in someone's cellar?
Okay, "Jen" knows about the last boat. Gibbs named the last boat after an ex-wive. Does that mean he was married when he was having the affair with her? Someone explain the timeline to me, please.
More reasons to hate whatever her name is:
3) she tells Tony things about himself that he already knows. Thatis incredibly annoying and useless. I bet she is good at everything she does, too.
4) She kisses "Director Sheppard", which is a clear sign of a conspiracy.
Now, help me out please.
In my version of the episode, the traitor is on the phone with Ari, telling him that she has a "relationship" with the new director. I know she can't mean what I am thinking, but does it sound strange to anyone else?
So she really is Ari's girlfriend, isn't she? Or one of them, at least.
Why do they believe her? That crap about Ari knowing about the satellite tracking? So, if he knew everything, why did he kill Kate, and try to kill McGee and Abby?
McGee has Superhero!Kate fantasies!
*loves McGee*
And now I know way more about McGee's sexual fantasies than I wanted to, thank you very much.
Oh, the elevator scene.
There should be icons with sound files, so we could all have an icon of Gibbs saying "I want you." to Tony.
Gibbs was a sniper?
Did we know that already? Cause I don't think they mentioned it in the "One Shot Kill", and that would have been a good occasion.
Guy walks out of pharmacy.
Hmm, I know that guy from somehere.
*wonders*
Gerald!
I love that they brought him back for this, but I really like Palmer better. I hope we get to keep Palmer.
And now Ari wants to prove that he didn't kill Kate, when we just saw him kill her. They'll make my head explode one day.
Justdon't let him hurt Ducky.
And the car Ducky is driving?
So perfect.
Altogether, a great episode. I wasn't all too sure if they could pull it off, if theywould be able to show the characters in the pain they should be in, but they did, and they did it very well.
I also liked the introduction of the new characters. It was well done, even if I don't like the new characters. I hope I'll be able to like the director a bit more once she loosens up.
Can't wait for next week!
