Movie Meme, at last (and TV meme, because I felt like it)

Total number of movies I own on DVD/Video:

Now that's just great. I'm not at home, I can't count, so I'll have to guess. Hmm....between 100 and 120, I'd say. That's only movies, and it includes self-recoreded tapes. Without them, a lot less. Maybe 60? Not counting TV shows, of course.

Last Film I bought:

I bought three at the same time, actually. Magic in the Water, The First To Go and Comes A Horseman.

Last Film that I watched:

Magic in the Water, yesterday evening. It was cute, but I prefer my Mark Harmon with guns and Tony. ;-)

Five Films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me, in no particular order:

I'm so bad at remembering something like that when I have to.

Lethal Weapon - I used to stay home on Saturday nights as a teen only to watch the (then) three movies in a row. I must have seen them ten times each.

Dead Poet's Society - That was my absolute favourite movie ever for a very long time. It was in the theatres for over a year where I live, and even though I doubt its success was all my doing, I saw it at least once a month. And then I watched it on TV, recoreded it, watched it again, finally bought the DVD... I cried every time.

Out of Africa - Another movie that never fails to make me cry. In fact, I don't even have to watch the whole movie, I can just start at the scene where she gets down on her knees to ask for help for her farm and wham, instant tears. I don't stop crying till the end. I love that movie. LOVE it.

A Fish called Wanda - I think I know all the dialogue by heart. Funny enough, my tape broke one day, and I haven't bought the DVD yet. I don't know why. Maybe beause I do't actually have to watch it to start laughing like a maniac, I just tell myself some of the dialogue.

Fried Green Tomatoes - A wonderful movie. Funny, sad, angry, amused...there is no emotion I don't feel while I watch it. I love the whole feeling of the movie, and I LOVE Mary-Louise Parker.

Pick on five people. Tag five people and have them put this in their journal.

Oh well, if you haven't done it by now, consider yourself tagged.

3. The last show I bought:

4. The last show I downloaded:

Currently downloading the new Numb3rs ep.

5. The last show I watched:

6. Seven shows that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me:

Duh.
Stargate
NCIS

To name but a few...

7. First show(s) I remember fangirling when I was a kid:
A-Team
Remington Steele.
The Fall Guy
Simon and Simon
Riptide
Miami Vice
Hart to Hart

I have also watched every single episode of Dallas, Dynasty and Knots Landing. I blame my parents, and I sure never fangirled them

I know. It's hard to believe I have any friends at all. Maybe that's why I don't watch TV these days. I only watch the things I download or own on DVD, but I never turn on the TV to watch the program.
