CSI 5x01 Viva Las Vegas + CSI NY
I feel a bit better today. Nothing a bit of CSI and some HL slash can't cure, right?
Watched , and it made me so happy! I have been watching a lot of CSI Miami lately, and I though the show might even be better then CSI LV. How could I ever think that?
They are all back, Nick with short hair (hot!), Warrick (he should have to wear suits every single episode. How sexy was that? Does anyone have screencaps? I wanted to do all sorts of thinsg to him with his loose tie... *dg*), Greg!, being all adroable and working with Grissom, which gave me lots of dirty thoughts. He seemed so young when he was working with Grissom. But wait till he wroks with Warrick. Warrick/Greg is the new black, trust me.
I hope we'll learn more about Sara this season. Sara is one of the main reasons why I'm not readind CSI slash anymore. On every list I could find, all the slashers seemed to hate Sara, and I just don't get why. And she isn't a threat to the slash pairings anyway, the only one she has chemistry with is Grissom, but that will never happen. Nick and Sara in this ep?
Brother and sister. There was absolutely nothing between them.
I've got a soft spot for Catherine, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see her suffer. I loved the scene with Nick Lea, I loved that she said nothing, and I loved how absolutely guilty he looked. He looked more as if his heart had just been torn out than she did.
Great season opener, I'm really looking forward to see more.
I can't believe I only have one CSI icon. I can't believe how much I missed that show.
And I watched
Hm. Can't say I liked it. The plot was too obvious for CSI, the characters seemed very flat. And the whole show was dark, too dark for my taste. CSI LV is all nights and lights and money and glamour. CSI Miami is heat and sun and beaches, bright pink and soft pastels. CSI NY, judging from the first episode, seems to be grey and dark and cold.
I didn't like Det. Taylor. He was supposed to be emotional and compassionate, but I just didn' buy it. his whole person seemed to cold. But that could change in time, can't really judge from a first ep. What I really didn't like was that he seemed unorganized, almost panicked.
Both Grissom and Horatio are so absolutely competent. Grissom is very very organized, he always knows what to do, who to give what case to. And Horatio? Did I mention that I have this thing for Horatio, where I would trust him with my life in an instant? He is always calm, his voice, his gestures. Calm, but never slow, never unemotional. I love Horatio. I admit that I love Horatio a lot more than Grissom, and I also have a little crush on Emily Procter, eve since I saw her on West Wing. I just love her voice, and see, she really does look hot with a gun.
But back to CSI NY. Okay, they have the hit girl with a gun, and while I doubt that she can reach Emily Procter, she also has a great coice. Haven't seen enough of her to say if i like her or not. Then we have what seems to be the unconventional CSI (=Greg). The unlucky guy is named Danny. *sigh*
TV really didn't need another Danny. Really.
And then we have the girl who will probably be my reason for not watching this show: Detective Stella Bonasera aka Nurse Stella. Have you slept, Mack? You look exhausted, Mack! You need rest, Mack!
I hated her. Absolutey hated her. Definitely not a good start.
But I'll give the show another chance.
Now, could someone help me and tell me where I can find schedules for CSI (and maybe NCIS)? I have to know when I have to download the new episodes, and unlike Stargate, I'm not involved in a fandom that's telling me these things.
