Yep, it's all coming back to me now. That XF fic feeling of good XF fic that will never make you forget just which universe you are reading in, because everything is and isn't possible, and you can never be quiet certain what will happen when you turn the page, or if you are even going to make it till the end of the story. (plus, the fact thateveryone wants to have sex with skinner is a dead give-away).
I really don't have time for this, but I'm loving it. I used to love this show so much, and I'm so happy that the love is still there. It's more than the "Coming Home" feeling Sentinel evokes. This is a crush that has never stopped being a crush, one of the "I can't stay away from you and I certainly can't take my hands off of you, even though I hate the way you eat a steak" kind of crushes. As long as you don't see him (her), it's fine, but once you do, it starts all over again.
Well, there's a reason this fandom invented UST.
Only this time, there's Doggett, and he makes everything exciting and new. And I'm not talking about the show as much as I'm talking about all the possibilities I missed during my last foray into the World of X. All the fics I didn't read, all the pics I didn't save to my harddrive to drool about, all the websites I didn't bookmark, because I didn't know Doggett and didn't care to get to know him.I could have been a Doggett fan all this time and I didn't know! Excuse me, I gotta go and submerge myself in XF fic. See you next year.
